Re-Vision - Downfall by atolm2000 Re-Vision - Downfall by atolm2000
"Calling hands that spread, they're living
Calling eyes that long forgiveness
And the torture that you live in is your fear
And the demons of your past approaching
You fall off, you call her, you hold the everfaithful lie...
Calling hands, you sense them on your skin
Calling eyes that bare the things within
And you feel a certain path, a sense of joy
Feel it widen, feel it brighten in you
As our eyes are shut like doors
As we feed our will no more
You fall off evertrusting liar
You call her "Never should we spread this faithless"
Is this the fire that we set off?
Enjoy the flames now, burning moth
Coming down to see through the earth
Is this the fire of Sekhmet's birth" - Re-Vision, Downfall (Thanks to for finding the lyrics ^_^ )

The wings were made using stock from . This's inked with microns, then everything else done in Photoshop, and finally finished Wheeee!!! Does happen to be my usual "avatar-person", and...well...wings have signifigance, but then, browsing my gallery and my favorites wouldn't give one the idea I have a phoenix complex, would iiiiit? Mwaheheheh.

I'm pretty surprised that no one's commented on this!

I really love it. Never heard of the band, personally, but your work is beautiful. ^^

Thank you ^^

(and well...I have a bunch of sampler CD's from German rock magazines, so there's a lot of odd/obscure stuff on my playlist...)

The only German music I know is BlutEngel and Rammstein. Really all I can find around here. Got any recommendations?

*piku* Ahm, Eisregen's good but an acquired taste, die Artze does some nifty stuff that's occasionally demented (but sorta requires understanding German to get the humor), In nifty b/c a lot of what they do is take old traditional songs and do ahrd-rock versions, in original lyrics, even when that means it's in dead dialects. Those're the -GERMAN- ones I can think of that I found via the samplers. The sampler CD's were rock from, well, anything being released in Europe, so some things like Re-Vision etc. aren't German, I just found them on a German magazine's sampler. That having been said, some other good ones off the sampler that're harder to find were Jacob's Dream (Kinescope being the track), any Luca Turilli, most Rhapsody, Pink Cream 69, and Supershine.

Wow, I've never heard of any of those. But thank you. ^_^ Now I'll have a reference point to start with for looking for music. :)
